An electrical study is carried out in order to measure the adequate capacity of the UPS. This is achieved through measurements of electrical consumption of the load to be protected. Similarly, this can be obtained by studying the electrical drawings of the project, load charts or an estimate by means of the number of jobs in the case of centralized UPS.

According to the needs, objectives and scope of the project, our team of experts in data centers will apply the different standards and best practices in this matter according to Uptime Institute, Bicsi, among others. For this reason, the visits and advice regarding structured cabling allow determining the correct category according to the applications that will run in your infrastructure. Starting from category 6 to category 7A in copper and single mode or multimode fiber solutions from OM2 to OM4, Grupo UPS consultants will help you determine the most cost-effective balance point for the highway that your data requires to move reliably.

The useful life of all equipment, be it a car, a computer and even a UPS and a Precision Air, goes hand in hand with the maintenance of its infrastructure. An adequate maintenance minimizes the MTBF (time between failures) and, therefore, maximizes the Uptime or operating time of its mission critical equipment.

UPS Group understands the criticality of the operation of its customers, which is why it offers maintenance services with its different variables:

Preventive Maintenance: periodic visits are scheduled in order to ensure the optimal functioning of the equipment and detect in advance, failures that may put at risk the operations that the teams support.
Corrective Maintenance: Includes preventive maintenance, also giving the option that emergency calls can be given during business hours or at any time, any day of the week (24/7 service)
